Mahikeng Ministers Fellowship (MMF) has ahead of the repatriation of the body of Pastor Felistus Ngutila Ndhlovu Mulenga to Zambia on Wednesday remembered the mother of two as a true servant leader, a disciple of Christ and a mother of nations who has left an indelible mark through her selfless service and ministry.
The 45-year-old who is survived by her husband, Pastor Dr Frank Mulenga and two daughters passed away on Tuesday 11 August 2026 at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria after suffering a cardiac arrest.
She is to be laid to her final resting place at Kitwe City in the Copper Belt Province, Zambia on Saturday.
The interdenominational fraternal affiliated to the South African Community of Faith Fraternals (SACOFF) lauded Pastor Mulenga as Woman of Faith, a humble and visionary leader with unwavering conviction to the unity of the church, the Great Commission and Kingdom Collaboration at a memorial service held in her honour on Sunday afternoon at the Discipleship Ministries Church in Montshiwa.
“We wish to heartily convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved Mulenga family, Discipleship Ministries Church including its congregants, Members of the Five-fold Ministries who are Watchmen of our City, the Christian and the broader Mahikeng community that she had served with dedication alongside her husband and partner in Ministry for the span of 25 years as they were active, consistent as well as committed members of MMF since its inception and participated fully in all our programmes,” highlighted MMF Chairperson, Senior Pastor Dr Moss Tlalang.
May they all find solace in the knowledge that MMF, the Christian and the Zambian Community in Mahikeng shares their grief.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them for comfort and strength during these trying times of mourning for their beloved one that we had known, loved dearly and regarded not as a foreigner but a fellow servant in the LORD’s vineyard and our very own, emphasised Tlalang.
“We salute her as a Kingdom builder, a unifier, woman of substance, great wisdom and courage, an intercessor as well as a soul-winner whose Pastoral mantle transcended denomination, cultures, cities including nations,” added Tlalang.
Pastor Mulenga will always be fondly remembered for her humility as well for being a loving wife, compassionate mother of great love from whom our communities nursed at her breast, a woman of unshakeable conviction and a revered Medical and Community Chaplain who supported her husband’s ministry and passion to serve the Body of Christ, he underscored.
“She carried herself at all material times with integrity and ran her endurance race with grace as well as fortitude. What awaits her as she has departed to be with the Lord that she served, is a crown of victory for a righteous life lived in service of God and humanity.
The proud, inspirational legacy and monument she has built in our hearts will always be treasured” he concluded.
Mulenga also served as a member of Virtuous Pearls and together with her husband and two daughters, Natasha Bwalya (28) Kezia Tumpale (24) were trained and active members of the Medical and Community Chaplaincy.
