The disgruntled group is calling on the South African government including President Cyril Ramaphosa to help them fight for their democratic right. A call to South Africa to promotes an acceptable solution to the Zimbabwean political situation.
They want fresh credible elections in Zimbabwe arguing that the elections in August were flawed.
They also want Ramaphosa to recognize the SADC report which highlighted that election in Zimbabwe had glaring irregularities.
This is their second march also calling for newly inaugurated President Emmerson Mnangagwa to step down.
Last month they marched to the Zimbabwean embassy to raise their frustration following the elections.
A representative of the Zimbabweans living in South Africa, Trust Ndlovu told the Tshwane Talks the Zimbabwe general elections of August 23 to 24 have been condemned as fraudulent not only by the country’s opposition but by the incredible international institution like SADC, Electoral Observer Mission, AU African Union and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
We want SADC to act on its own SEOM report. We call upon President Ramaphosa to accept and respect the SADC report in its form.
Presidents Ramaphosa should not cushion or shield the ZANU PF president Emmerson Mnangagwa from dictatorship by delaying SADC summit on Zimbabwe disputed election.
“We want free and fair elections under a new environment and ZANU PF should be stopped from bullying the regions and I believe that one day Zimbabwe will be free,” Ndlovu said.
He said solving the Zimbabwe crisis is solving the immigration crisis in South Africa. ZANU PF dictatorship is costing South Africa and regions.
We are not happy that President Ramaphosa congratulates Emmerson knowing very well that the elections were flawed.
Mnagagnwa is an illegitimate leader, and he stole the election and don’t deserve to be the presidents of Zimbabwe.
When Presidents Ramaphosa gives Mnagagwa a hug and congratulating him he opened boarders for us to come here in South Africa. Every time he gives him a handshake, he brings 10 000 Zimbabwe to South Africa.
“We call to South Africa to promote an acceptable solution to the Zimbabwean political situation,” he said.
Deputy Chairlady of SAWA South Africa woman assembly Sophia Mujumi said we want fresh elections, and we don’t recognize Mnagagwa as the President of Zimbabwe. We want him to step down.
Progressive Zimbabwe Movement Zenzo Khumalo said he represents MRP9 the people who are behind bars in Zimbabwe and they were arrested unlawful.
They were arrested for political issues toward elections.
“I wish they can be released soon cause they done nothing wrong and have not committed any crime,” Khumalo said.
He said we want all Zimbabwean regardless from which political party just to come together and fight against what is happening with the ruling party. We want international community to help us and intervene what is happening in Zimbabwe.
“We love our country, and we love our home, and we want to go back but situation back at home is painful.
We don’t want to come here, and squash people and we are being called different names and its hurt us a lot,” said Rose Mnguni.
She said things are bad at Zimbabwe, the economy is down and the only people who are benefiting are people who are closed to Emmerson Mnagagwa. The man has appointed relatives in the high seat.
“We are not happy that Ramaphosa congradulate Mnagagwa knowing very well that the election was flawed.
Mnagagwa is an illegitimate leader he stole the election and don’t deserve to be the presidents of Zimbabwe and we don’t recognize him as the leader of Zimbabwe,” Confidence Shiburu.
He said when Presidents Ramaphosa gave Mnagagwa a hug and congratulating him he opened boarders for us to come here in South Africa. Every time he gives him a handshake, he brings 10 000 Zimbabwean m to South Africa.
“We are here to express our discomfort in the South Africa and in the world and we pray our pleads to be heard and not to fall on deaf ears,” he said.
