The City of Tshwane is proud to announce significant progress in expanding its service delivery fleet, a key step in strengthening operational internal capacity and ensuring residents receive
efficient, reliable services.

At the beginning of November, 22 newly procured vehicles were delivered across essential departments, including Electricity, Waste Management, Water and Sanitation, Marketing, Environmental Management, and Emergency Services.

These vehicles equip frontline teams
with the tools needed to perform their duties effectively and safely.

The Electricity Department has welcomed advanced cherry picker trucks that will enhance the City’s ability to maintain the electricity network and respond swiftly to any technical challenges.

In Waste Management, new compactors and collection vehicles have strengthened operations, supporting cleaner, healthier communities across Tshwane.

City-owned additions such as water
tanker trucks, street sweepers, and a drop-side truck further reinforce the City’s capacity to respond to operational demands and community needs.

Specialised vehicles for Emergency Services continue to bolster the City’s readiness for firefighting and emergency response, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.

The delivery of this fleet underscores the City’s commitment to building internal capacity, improving service delivery and creating a City that works equipped, prepared, and focused on serving its communities efficiently.
