Jobs seekers interested in traffic officer training are warned about a scam currently doing rounds on social media platforms.

The fake advert with a picture of a traffic officer purports to come from the Road Traffic Management Corporation.

According to Chief communication officer of RTMC Simon Zwane said the RTMC is currently not recruiting and advises the public not to respond to any advert that invites them to send applications on WhatsApp or other unconventional methods.

“To confirm the availability of vacancies at RTMC, interested people are advised to consult the RTMC official website, www.rtmc.co.za

We do not levy any fee for job applications and requests for money should be reported to the police,” said Chief communication officer of RTMC Simon Zwane.
