Preisdent Progressive Forces of South Africa
The Progressive Forces of South Africa are pleased to announce the safe return of Mazwi Kubeka.
Members of his family were able to reunite with him at the Vosloorus police station, ensuring he receives the necessary care to recover from what has undoubtedly been a traumatic ordeal.
As a civic organisation, we commend the spirit of active citizenship demonstrated by South Africans who joined hands in the search for Mazwi Kubeka.
This collective effort underscores the power of community solidarity and highlights the essential role citizens play in advocating for safety and justice when official channels falter.
Such unity is precisely what is needed to build our nation.
However, our organisation, alongside concerned citizens, believes that
accountability and transparency from our government and law enforcement agencies remain paramount.
There must be consequences for the heinous crime committed against Mazwi Khubeka.
The Premier of Gauteng and the Minister of Communication made specific promises
to the community of Vosloorus and to South Africans at large regarding this matter.
The Progressive Forces of South Africa have duly noted these commitments and will continue to vocalise the community’s
demands until the Kubeka family is granted closure and justice.
Furthermore, we observe a disturbing trend where spaza shops are reportedly hijacked by individuals involved in illegal immigration.
Communities that have taken action in response to the perceived failure of law enforcement agencies to address these issues must continue their vigilance.
The gravity of this complex situation demands urgent attention from our government.
We thank every citizen who participated in seeking Mazwi Kubeka.
This is the type of ‘stronger together’ spirit that is vital for national progress and security.
