The All-Truck Drivers Forum and Allied South Africa (ATDF-ASA) hereby issues a formal warning to all trucking organizations, companies, truck owners,
and any individuals engaged in or facilitating fraudulent activities under the guise of representing ATDF-ASA.
We have been made aware of individuals purporting to represent ATDF-ASA
and soliciting money from companies and stakeholders within the trucking
industry.
These actions are unauthorized and constitute criminal acts such as extortion, money laundering, and bribery.
ATDF-ASA categorically states that:
1. We do not send members or representatives to solicit or collect money on our behalf under any circumstances.
2. Any individuals or companies involved in such activities are acting unlawfully and will be held accountable.
3. We do not condone or tolerate corruption, bribery, or any form of illegal
activity within the trucking industry.
We call on all trucking stakeholders to cease any involvement in these activities immediately.
Continuing to engage with these individuals not only damages the integrity of the trucking industry but also exposes your organization to legal repercussions.
To address this issue comprehensively:
ATDF-ASA encourages law enforcement agencies to take swift and decisive action.
We are prepared to cooperate fully in prosecuting all guilty parties to the
fullest extent of the law.
We urge anyone who has been approached by these fraudulent individuals or has
information about such activities to contact ATDF-ASA directly for verification and further assistance.
Let us work together to restore trust and accountability within the trucking
industry.
