The United Africans Transformation (UAT) is appalled by the Division of Revenue Bill, which utterly fails to address the pressing needs of our people.

Rural communities are still grappling with apartheid’s legacy and lack basic services like clinics, jobs, water, and dignity.

The Bill’s neglect of their daily struggles is a stark reminder of the government’s failure to prioritize the needs of the people.

It ignores the daily struggles of our people for basic services like clinics, jobs, water, and dignity, It reflects a callous disregard for the spirit of Ubuntu and the promise of the Freedom Charter.

UAT demands a new fiscal compact that prioritizes human lives over numbers.

We need policies that invest in people’s well-being, rather than just spreadsheets.

The government must recognize that a budget that starves the periphery will eventually bleed the centre.

A budget that starves the periphery will eventually bleed the centre.

President Mahlatsi warned.

This is a stark reality that the government cannot ignore.

We need a budget that empowers the marginalized, rather than further entrench inequality.

The UAT stands in solidarity with the forgotten and marginalized communities.

We will continue to advocate for policies that promote equality, justice, and human dignity.

We will not be silenced by the status quo as per GNU capitalist project.

We stand for justice.

We stand with the forgotten.

We demand better.

The UAT calls on the government to reconsider the Division of Revenue Bill and prioritize the needs of the people.

The time for empty promises is over; it’s time for action.
