“The pastors of Tshwane need sites so that they can assist our communities,” said ACDP Cllr Thabang Moshidi today.

“Church membership builds social cohesion, while Christian sermons grow responsible citizens, and caring congregations help vulnerable members of society.

Families are also strengthened through the teaching of pastors and the counselling they give.

“Christian values reduce social problems like substance abuse, crime and violence.

After some time, this leads to the socio-economic development of communities.

Without premises, however, churches cannot properly achieve all this.

“The ACDP in Tshwane therefore calls on our City to zone more sites for churches.

Without land and premises, churches cannot to help our people and uplift our communities.”
