City of Tshwane Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya and City of Joburg Mayor Dada Morero held a joint media briefing at Tshwane House on Monday to unveil plans for the forthcoming African Mayors’ Assembly.
The meeting of these African mayoral personalities will be held at the CSIR Convention Centre in Tshwane and will run for three days.
The African Mayors’ Assembly will be held on June 12 while the U20 Sherpa Meeting will be held from the 13 to 14 June 2025.
At the briefing, Morero and Moya revealed the names of those scheduled to speak at the said three-day meeting who include African Mayors and global urban leaders.
The two Mayors also revealed site visit opportunities that showcase Tshwane’s sustainable development projects as well as innovation exhibitions featuring urban climate solutions.
