The sudden transfer of Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala to the Super Maximum Prison in Kokstad raised serious suspicions. Why now?

We suspect that corruption between Vusimuzi Matlala and some corrupt Correctional Services officials is at play here.

It cannot just be a haphazard decision. Something serious might have happened leading to this drastic decision.

Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala was locked up in a relatively high profile prison at Kgosi Mampuru, C-Max single cell section.

However, even at this highly secured prison, prison officials found a cellphone in his possession.

Sooner or later the country will know the truth, the reason why Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala was transferred to the Super Max Prison in Kokstad.

Whilst we welcome this decision, we are calling upon the Correctional Services Authorities to be transparent and tell the country the reason for this decision.
