Soil of Africa (SOA) issued a scathing condemnation of the Principal of Tsebentlha Primary School, Mrs. Matshego, citing grave concerns over financial mismanagement and unauthorized changes to the school’s language policy.
According to SOA, the Principal’s actions have resulted in the embezzlement of school funds, lack of transparency in financial records, and disruption to the feeder school system.
Parents and the community have raised serious allegations against the Principal, which have led to a collective decision to demand her immediate removal.
“We are appalled by the Principal’s blatant disregard for the law and the well-being of our children,” said Bongani King Ramontja, Chairperson of Soil of Africa.
“Her actions have caused irreparable harm to the school and the community, and it is imperative that she is held accountable,” said Ramontja.
SOA has scheduled a formal meeting with the District Office on Saturday June 21, 2025, to present evidence and demand action.
The organization is immediately calling for:
-An independent forensic investigation into the school’s financial affairs with transparency on school bank statements.
-Immediate removal of the Principal pending the outcome of the investigation.
-Restoration of order and confidence in the school’s leadership.
“We will not stand idly by while our children’s education is compromised by reckless and corrupt leadership,” added Ramontja with emphasis that.
“We demand that the District Office takes immediate action to address these serious allegations and ensures that our schools are governed with integrity and transparency.” he said.
Soil of Africa calls on the media and the public to join us in demanding accountability and transparency in our education system.
