The Vispol Commander of Temba SAPS, Colonel Daphne Steyn, expressed her sincere appreciation for the hard work and dedication of Reservist Constable Piet Shiburi, who has served the South African Police Service as a volunteer for more than 22 years.
Colonel Steyn handed over a token of appreciation to Constable Shiburi during the parade in recognition of his long-standing and selfless service.
She commended him for his unwavering commitment and dedication, noting that he rendered his services as a reservist without any financial remuneration from the organisation.
Colonel Steyn further emphasised that, especially during the festive season, it is important to acknowledge and value members who go beyond the call of duty, allowing them to feel appreciated as they spend time with their families.
The token of appreciation serves as a gesture of gratitude and recognition, reflecting the value of Constable Shiburi’s contributions to the organisation and affirming that his dedication has not gone unnoticed.
Colonel Steyn thanked Constable Shiburi for his tireless efforts and for making a meaningful difference in the community.
