Executive Mayor of Tshwane, Dr Nasiphi Moya and MMC for Human Settlements, Ald Aaron Maluleka, are unfortunately back at Plastic View Informal Settlement this evening, responding to another devastating shack fire incident that has once again affected the community.

They are joined on site by Cllrs Wilkinson, de Klerk and Viljoen, where firefighting teams from the City of Tshwane Emergency Services Department continue to battle the blaze and assess the extent of the damage.

The latest fire comes just days after a previous incident in the area, further highlighting the vulnerability of residents living in densely populated informal settlements and the urgent need for safer, more resilient living conditions for affected communities.
