This critical infrastructure project forms part of the City’s ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and addressing sanitation challenges in the region.
The project aims to enhance sewer reticulation systems to better serve the community of Phomolong and surrounding areas.
Once completed, the upgraded infrastructure will significantly improve sanitation services, ensuring a healthier and more sustainable environment for residents.
This initiative aligns with the City’s broader efforts to invest in essential infrastructure that supports dignified living conditions for all citizens.
The aim is to ensure that the standard of living is improved through the provision of basic sanitation services to the broader community.

The project is also aimed at delivering public infrastructure to the community through construction by using conventional methods and most importantly using intensive labour methods to empower the community through the Extended Public Work Programme (EPWP).
Water is life, sanitation is dignity. This initiative demonstrates the City’s commitment to deliver efficient and effective services to the residents of Tshwane.
