City of Tshwane Municipality Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya presented the latest crime statistics for the period July 2025 up until now on Tuesday this week
According to the Mayor, these statistics provide an important picture of the safety challenges facing communities across Tshwane.
Dr Moya was joined in this media briefing by MMC for Community Safety Hannes Coetzee as well as Tshwane Metro Police Department officials and the Tshwane Emergency Services officials.
In essence, Dr Moya said the statistics allow the City of Tshwane and its law-enforcement agencies to track trends, identify crime hotspots and allocate resources where they are most needed.
