MAYOR MOYA SAYS MUNICIPALITY WILL ACT DECISiVELY AGAINST CORRUPTION

City of Tshwane Municipality Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya says the Tshwane Metro will act decisively against corruption.

Speaking at a media briefing on Thursday ahead of the Council meeting to address service delivery issues and matters that arose st the Madlanga Commission, Moya confirmed that Chief Financial Officer Gareth Mnisi will be placed on suspension just like MMC for Corporate and Shared Services Kholofelo Morodi and Deputy Commissioner of Tshwane Metro Police Umashi Dlamini.

The above-mentioned trio were mentioned at the Madlanga Commission for having bring involved in various acts of corruption in the City of Tshwane Municipality, including tender-rigging and jobs-for-pals.
