ANC Greater Tshwane Region welcomes the interviews of witnesses, from the TMPD who appeared before the Madlanga Commission.
It has always been a worrying factor for the ANC on how this department and others would have been plunged into objects of malfeasance and the depth of corruption over the years under the DA led administration and those it governed with, and has led to the collapse of the entire governance system in the city.
The ANC Greater Tshwane Region had in the month of February 2026 continued to expose the failures and flagged the deep levels of corruption which the administration of the DA, FF Plus etc, enabled the interference of political principals such as former MMC Grandhi of TMPD in the City, through the removal of highly trained & competent officials in the vetting unit or division, which were trained by the city and the SAPS intelligence unit in order to have a compromised system, which saw the many appointments of senior managers, who lacked, the necessary qualifications, vetting and even clearance certificates for them to be in the employment of the local state.
The list of these officials would range from:
– Sean Bolhuis
– Revo Spies
– Yolanda Faro
– Commander Piet Francois Coetsee (Vetting)
– DC Nhlapo
– Elvis Ndlovu etc
The intention, was to bring into the system compromised candidates to run the corrupt political machinery of the DA and its coalition partners by effecting the appointments of the under qualified and external officials, whom were not vetted, to swell the ranks of a once financially sound Metropolitan Municipality.
These actions represented a well orchestrated plan to deliberately attack the once credible institution – and at the helm of the attack was the DA led administration in undermining internal capacity and doing everything they could to frustrate the capacity of employees, who would have gained sufficient experience in the City over the years this was to overall an effective institution into creating a powerful administrative network, to advance the underground plans of the DA to propel their agenda of Cape Town in the City of Tshwane which would undermine any administration that would be as an end result of an electoral system going into the future.
The plan has been decimated thoroughly by the ANC Greater Tshwane Region, and through the Madlanga Commission, the congress movement has been vindicated (action that was doubted, by many on our stance in the reporting of grand scale corruption in the City)
It was the ANC Greater Tshwane Region that raised the alarm on the:
– Abuse of power at TMPD
– SunCity Blesser and his capturing of the TMPD
– Political Vehicle (Black BMW 3Series) involved in a car crash and never was it reported to the responsible officials for purpose of investigation, which never took place as it had to provide cover for the Chief Of Police, including the usage of municipal property by the same Sun City Chinese Blesser, who is a service provider in the city and has employed children of senior officials of TMPD, and additional to the abuse of power, was the promotion of all officials who accompanied the Chief Of Police to SunCity, not only was that, but the recruitment of 200 TMPD trainees which largely are linked or connected with senior officials within the TMPD and this was done to undermine the competent young people with no political links.
