GAUTENG GOVERNMENT TO LAUNCH THE 36TH SCHOOL OF SPECIALISATION

Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi together with MEC for Infrastructure Development and Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Jacob Mamabolo and MEC for Education, Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Matome Chiloane, will be launching the newly refurbished Ribane-Laka Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialisation in Mamelodi, Pretoria on Wednesday, 7 May 2025.

This is the 36th School of Specialisation to be launched by the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) since 2016, and it will specialise in Maths, Science and ICT with a focus on the Automotive & Electronic sectors.

Ribane-Laka Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialisation is the future of
education as learners from this school will benefit from the Tshwane Automotive
Special Economic Zone (TASEZ), which is Africa’s first automotive city that was
recently launched.
