National Leader of Forum for South Africa (FOSA)
The Forum for South Africa (FOSA) notes and welcomes the dismissal of Sisisi Tolashe from her position of Minister of Social Development.
As FOSA, we have consistently maintained that Sisisi was unfit to hold office and called for her removal in the interest of accountability, ethical leadership, and the protection of public trust.
Her dismissal confirms what we have long argued that public office must be occupied by individuals who uphold integrity, transparency, and the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
This development must serve as a clear message to all public officials: positions of authority are not shields against accountability.
Those who fail in their duties or place personal interests above the people of South Africa will ultimately face consequences.
FOSA further calls on relevant authorities to ensure that this is not the end of the matter.
Where wrongdoing has occurred, thorough investigations and appropriate legal action must follow.
Accountability must not only be political, but also legal.
We remain committed to advocating for clean governance, responsible leadership, and a government that truly serves its people.
