FOSA condemns the opening of criminal cases against members of March and March, Operation Dudula and MK, who were standing up for the interests of South African children, especially at Addington Primary School in Durban, where overcrowding has left many local learners without school placement.
It is unacceptable that the government continues to protect foreign nationals at the expense of South African taxpayers and parents.
South African children are being denied their right to education while their parents are ignored.
FOSA rejects this misguided and nonsensical approach by the state. Charity must begin at home.
The government is provoking public anger and unrest through its failure to prioritise its own people.
FOSA calls for the immediate release of all those arrested for peacefully fighting for the rights of their children and communities.
