Bolsheviks Party of South Africa (BPSA)
We, the Bolsheviks Party of South Africa (BPSA), we are a party willing to see our municipality being managed properly without any element of corruption.
Today, on the 22 of September 2025, we came across the letter from the City of Tshwane Office of the Chief Whip ANC Caucus with the City of Tshwane logo circulating in social media with contents for ANC campaign in ward 10 that will have by-elections on the 1st October 2025, City of Tshwane.
Our knowledge is that the logo is designed to promote public recognition and identification of a brand and business operation of our beloved municipality, City of Tshwane.
By the way, it is your role as the city manager to oversee and ensure responsible use and protect it as registered intellectual property.
Also, it is your role to oversee daily tasks, including the implementation of the policies related to the logo.
So, we view this letter as a deliberate misuse of this intellectual property by the Office of the Chief Whip ANC caucus to promote and give advantage to ANC that is also contesting the forthcoming by-elections in ward 10.
We also suspect that these MMCs mentioned in this letter may have used our municipal resources (cars and money) for this ANC election campaign.
Therefore, we request an urgent clarity on the use of the city logo for political campaigns and investigation on the resources used by the MMCs and the Chief Whip on this campaign, the evidence letter attached.
We will be happy if your respected office can give us a response within 7 days from today.
