CITY OF TSHWANE MMC FOR FINANCE MODISE DELIVERS BUDGET SPEECH

City of Tshwane Municipallity MMC for Finance Eugene Modise, who also serves as the City’s Deputy Mayor, delivered his maiden budget speech as the person in charge of Tshwane’s finances.

Modise pointed out that the 2025/ 2026 budget underscores the City’s commitment to financial stability and enhanced basic service delivery to all residents.

He noted that the tabling of the budget ones against the backdrop of Global Credit Ratings, which is an affiliate of Moody’s and gave the City of Tshwane a positive outlook.

“The global credit rating agencies specifically commend the City of Tshwane for its improved fiscal position and liquidity metrics,” said the Deputy Mayor.
