ARMCHAIR CRITIC: STOP USING THE “EITHER OR” TACTICS; PLAY MOFOKENG AND ZWANE SAME TIME

I am convinced that Relebohile Mofokeng is the football Messiah that we have been looking for.

The 21-year-old is a marvel to watch and must be played in that number 10 position in the Bafana Bafana setup and I don’t care what his coach at Orlando Pirates thinks about this matter because he doesn’t trust Mofokeng.

That Pirates coach loves diagonal crosses; he doesn’t like talented players like Mofokeng who can take defenders on and dribble them.

The Pirates coach is from Morocco anyway; a country that has never won anything in football since 1976 and was literally handed the Africa Cup of Nations trophy by billionaire Patrice Motsepe and his friends, though Senegal won it in the field of play.

Mofokeng literally makes Bafana Bafana play and his marvellous passes actually surprise lame strikers like Hlongwane and Lyle Foster because they are not used to being fed good passes.

Mofokeng allows Bafana Bafana Bafana to play through the middle of the pitch and can receive the ball and turn around towards the goalposts of the opponents.

The only other player who could do this was Lesedi Kapinga whose career, like that of many other players was annihilated by Mamelodi Sundowns.

Now the two idiots, Hlongwane and Lyle Foster wasted many scoring chances that were given to them by Mofokeng in the two friendly games against Panama; a weak country in terms of football.

To Hugo Broos my command and not request is that he must field Themba Zwane and Relebohile Mofokeng at the same time.

He must not use the “either or” tactic by replacing one for another; he must play them at the same time to give us attacking options and allow us to play.

Dear God we want to play!

Broos must get rid of defensive midfielders like Bathuse Aubaas and Jayden Adams because Tebogo Mokoena can do the job of these static and useless defensive midfielders alone.

Mokoena must be played in the midfield to support Zwane and Mofokeng.

We must stop using the silly “defensive midfielder” tactics which is an old and outdated tactic that was invented in the 1920s during the First World War.

I made a research about this stupid tactic

It is a pity that Bafana coach Broos and all the coaches in South Africa still use this outdated First World War tactic “to wait for the enemy to attack” by using the robot-like defensive midfielder who doesn’t contribute anything to the team.

What is the use of having the so-called defensive midfielders because opposing teams will attack and score goals against you anyway?

Upfront we must start looking for strikers because at the moment we have none.
