The African Media and Communicators Forum (AMCF) and the National Press
Club (NPC) commend the South African Police Service (SAPS) for their continued hard work in solving the case relating to the disappearance of our colleague and brother Sibusiso Aserieî Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli.
The SAPS announced this morning that three more suspects were arrested,
which brings the total now to eight.
Some of the suspects have already appeared in court.
Earlier this week Police appealed to members of the public for help with
information on the whereabouts of more identified suspects.
Two of the arrested suspects appeared in court yesterday in KwaMhlanga where
the matter was postponed for further investigation as the police were looking
for more suspects.
The latest arrests bode well for the investigation which has received additional resources in recent weeks.
The three suspects are expected to appear in court on Wednesday 14 May 2025 while the suspects who are already in custody will return to court on Monday 19 May 2025.
