FOUR MALE SUSPECTS BEHIND BARS IN CONNECTION WITH A MURDER INCIDENT

Four males suspects arrested in connection with murder case in Pretoria Central

A swift reaction by the Detective team Serious and Violent Crime Unit consisting of Sergeant Alphius Mmakola, Sergeant Lucky Mahlangu and Constable Themba Maisela led to the arrest of four male suspects aged 26, 27, 27 and 30 years in connection with a murder case.

The breakthrough came after a lifeless body was found at the corner of Bosman and Nana Sita Street on Sunday in the early hours of the morning with severe injuries (it looked like he was hit with an object on the head) behind an abandoned building.

Luckily there was an informant whom the suspect also assaulted, he managed to give the police a lead in terms of where the suspect might be.

A swift reaction by the team led to the identified place in the Drankensburg flats in the inner city where the four were found and brought in for questioning.

The station commander applauded the members for their for their quick reaction and ensur that the perpetrators face the might of the law.

We call on the public not to resort to violence, a small altercation can lead to serious injuries even murder.

We urged the community to report to the police rather than taking the law into their own hands.

All four appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court, bail was denied pending further investigation.
