The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) Chief of Police, Commissioner YCR Faro, celebrated her pre-birthday in a deeply meaningful way by spending the day with the children of the Bophelong Children Centre in Mamelodi.

The visit forms part of the Commissioner’s initiative “Adopt an Orphanage Home” program, where she encouraged her counterparts to do the same by supporting underprivileged children within their communities, providing them with essential resources, care and the personal attention they deserve.

Instead of hosting a traditional birthday celebration, Commissioner Faro opted to spend her biggest day in the calendar with the needy children and spreading warmth within the community, reinforcing the TMPD commitment to community policing and social responsibility.
