With participants from diverse backgrounds, including persons with Disabilities, taking to the streets, the event has become a living symbol of unity, representation, and the dismantling of social stigmas.

They walked from Tzaneen big Save Butchery mopani District, to Tzaneen Show Ground Mopani District.

Far more than a walk, the campaign is an active demonstration of UAT’s unwavering commitment to equality.

Significantly, the UAT proudly stands as one of the few political formations in the country with its own League for Persons with Disabilities, ensuring that representation is not symbolic but structurally embedded within its leadership and decision-making.

As participants advance towards the finishing line, they are not merely covering ground; they are challenging entrenched barriers, amplifying marginalized voices, and reshaping the narrative around disability and inclusion.

Their presence sends an unambiguous message, accessibility is not charity, it is a right, and representation must be non-negotiable.

This campaign is a rallying call to individuals, communities, and institutions to act decisively in dismantling exclusionary systems.

It underscores that inclusivity is a political imperative and a societal duty.

The overwhelming success of the event is a testament to the power of collective action.

It has forged a renewed sense of solidarity and commitment to building a society where all people, regardless of ability, can thrive with dignity and equality.
