The Pretoria High Court dismissed an application by the former speaker of parliament, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula for the disclosure of “C” section of the docket.
The matter was postponed to 09 May 2025 for a progress report by the NPA’s IDAC on the representations made by the accused to the office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP).
Mapisa-Nqakula is facing 12 counts of corruption and money laundering wherein she is accused of receiving and soliciting R4.5 million, with R2,1 million allegedly received as cash from a service provider,
Her R50 000 bail was extended until the next court appearance.
