Not In My Name International (NIMNI) is heartbroken and deeply outraged by the brutal murder of twin boys in Mamelodi D6.

Their mother discovered them with multiple stab wounds after returning home from work on Friday, 2 October 2026.

No mother should ever have to come home to such devastation.

No words can fully express the pain of losing two children in this horrific manner.

We extend our deepest condolences to their mother, their family, friends and the community of Mamelodi.

These boys had lives to live, dreams to pursue and a future that should have been protected.

Their deaths leave a family shattered and a community mourning.

The NIMNI team has been on site since yesterday, following the incident.

We stand in solidarity with the family during this unimaginably painful time.

We call on the South African Police Service to prioritise a thorough investigation and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

We further call for urgent psychosocial support for their mother and all those affected by this tragedy.

We urge anyone with information to assist the police.

We also appeal to the public to respect the family’s privacy and dignity by refraining from sharing graphic images or spreading unverified claims.

The protection of children must be reflected in the safety of their homes and communities, the urgency of our institutions and our collective refusal to accept violence as ordinary.

We mourn these two young lives. We stand with their mother. We demand justice.
