Stacey Care Centre together with its stakeholders like Men and Boys Advocates (MBA) celebrated Women’s Day and Women’s Month recently at the Hope Resurrection Worship Centre situated in Plot 125, Leeuwfontein.
Various speakers delivered inspiring speaches to build and motivate the community.

Empowerment sessions regarding leadership, health and wellness were also held.
Health screening as well as stalls and exhibitions by local businesses were also offered.
Music and poetry recitals were plenty on the day which honoured men but most importantly celebrated women.
The celebratory event was not limited to women only but also included men as well as young girls and boys.
The occasion was graced by ispiring speakers, stalls also there etc
Participants who took part in various projects offered by Stacey Care Centre received awards on the day.
Stacey Care Centre was established in 2024 by its ambassador Stacey Mosehle.
“The aim of Stacey Care Centre is to empower women, men and children and support survivors of GBV as well as orphaned, vulnerable children through education, commumity engagement and collaboration,” said Mosehle.
“We envision a world women, men and children live free of violence, discrimination and fear and can thrive in safe and equitable communities,” she explained.
Among many other matters, Stacey Care Centre deals with issues of Gender Based Violence. (GBV).
“To minimise the scourge of GBV we empower the local community with different skills The event was very successful and everybody was happy and satisfied about it and women received gifts donated by Old Mutual while children received gifts courtesy of Stacey Care Centre as a sign of appreciation,” said Mosehle.
“My message to all the young ladies out there is that they must not doubt themselves and must seek help whenever the need arises and must not be shy to do so,” said Mosehle
