The country must forever be grateful to Lt General Nhlanhla Mkwanazi for saving our country from becoming a Mafia State.

The scary and horrifying revelations in the form of cellphone messages that were presented before the Madlanga Commission by evidence leader, Adv Matthew Chaskalson SC, communication allegedly from the cellphone of the late taxi boss Mr Jonathan Msibi are extremely serious.

Listening to the conversations there is no doubt anymore that a very dangerous criminal syndicate the (BIG 5) was operating in the criminal justice system.

It is very concerning that all these horrible illegal activities happening in the country and our Intelligence structures were not able to picked them up.

We must ask the question: Do we still have a State Security Agency?

The State Security Agency was killed when President Cyril Ramaphosa decided to take the Intelligence under his wing in the Presidency. That was the end.

When we say that under the ANC government everything was destroyed, we are being criticised and called all sorts of names.

Activists and Citizens Forum calls upon all ethical police officials to emulate the courage of Lt General Nhlanhla Mkwanazi and expose wrongdoing and apply the law without fear or favour.
