The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) in Gauteng hereby formally distances itself from a structure referring to itself as “MK Teens.” This entity is not recognized, sanctioned, or affiliated with the MKP in any capacity.
We have noted with serious concern the establishment of this structure, which
displays hallmarks consistent with rogue elements. Such formations risk misleading the public, undermining organizational discipline, and creating confusion regarding the official positions and programs of the MKP.
Equally, we have noted a number of mushrooming structures, particularly in Gauteng, purporting to be either fraternal to or aligned with the MKP, despite not being officially recognised.
These developments are a cause for concern as they further contribute to
misrepresentation and organizational disarray.
We urge comrades to desist from this kind of conduct and call on members and
supporters not to fall for such gimmicks.
The MKP remains committed to lawful,
disciplined, and transparent organizational processes, and we encourage the public to engage only with officially recognised structures of the movement.
Further steps will be taken to address this matter and to safeguard the integrity of the organization.
