The City of Tshwane Speaker of Council, Cllr Mncedi Ndzwanana, congratulates the
Matric Class of 2025 for achieving an impressive 88% pass rate.
This represents an increase of approximately 0.7% from the 2024 results and demonstrates that there is always room for growth and that even greater achievements are possible.
While celebrating this milestone, the Speaker continues to urge education
authorities and all stakeholders to work collaboratively to promote equal access to quality education for all learners.
The focus must not only be on pass rates, but also on the quality of matriculants produced, as they are the future leaders of our country.
To those learners who did not succeed this time, this is not the end of the road.
There are still many opportunities ahead.
We encourage you to persevere, return and try again.
The Speaker further appeals to parents, educators and all members of society to
support every child, particularly those who did not achieve the desired results, and to motivate them to never give up.
This is a critical period in their lives, with a significant impact on their future.
Once again, congratulations to the Matric Class of 2025.
